Celebrating Safe Toys and Gifts Month

December is a month full of gatherings and gift-giving. We bet that you have some four-legged friends you'll be shopping for this holiday season, so we wanted to tell you a secret... Not all pet toys are made with safety in mind.

Isn't that scary? When getting ready to shop for the furry friends in your life this year, here are some things to keep in mind to get the safest possible toys for our pets:

Size Matters
Considering the size of your dog's mouth before purchasing any toy is must. If the toy is too small, it can be swallowed and lead to a very unfortable and expensive vet visit!

Avoid Choking Hazards
While squeaky toys can be entertaining for your dog, they may not be the safest. They can quickly become a choking hazard for your dog if they get the squeaker out and swallow it. If your dog is rough with their toys it may be best to steer clear of toys with squeakers or be sure to supervise when they play with their squeaky toys.

Go For Easy to Clean Toys
Hygiene is essential for your dog and other family members. Fabric toys are easy to machine wash and should be cleaned regularly.

We do our best to keep all of these things in mind which is why our toys come in many different sizes, are all machine washable, and have optional squeakers!
